Kaduna Crisis and El Rufai's bias.

The Nigerian Army in Southern Kaduna should do more than just keep peace. There is an urgent need for the battalions to seek out those who are responsible for the mayhem in the state. The way things are going it appears that they government at both state and federal level intend to sweep the massacre under the carpet since the Senate, when it resumes sitting appears to be the only body that has come out to say that there would be a thorough investigation into the crisis that left over 800 people dead.
Security experts have said the government needs to focus on the weapons used in the attack that the weapons would definitely lead to the arrest of the people involved. The weapons frequently used in attacks like these have been the AK47 assault rifle which has been on sale by gun runners all around the world. Each gun has a serial number which can be traced and sales points can also be pointed out.
A lot of people believe that the governor of Kaduna State Mallam Nasir El Rufai reacted in the wrong way to the crisis when he said he had paid some people to stop the rampage and later imposed a curfew on the areas that appeared to be affected by the attack.El Rufai seems to have allowed religious sentiment to get in his way. Being a Muslim many observers have accused him of having a lot of bias.
