Kaduna killings: Visitors to El Rufai speak peace but Oyedepo spits fire!

 Bishop Oyedepo
The Bishop of Living Faith Ministries International Bishop David Oyedepo is not taking it easy with those who killed hundreds of people in Kaduna in the recent crisis that took place there
The founder and presiding Bishop of the megachurch, Living Faith Church Worldwide International, AKA Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo has invoked God’s curses on those fueling Southern Kaduna killings, saying God should break up Nigeria now if it is His will.

During a recent ministration at Winner's Chapel Oyedepo rained curses on those who carried out and sponsored the killings in Kaduna: Every political root, every occultic root of this uprising is cursed today!
"All northern forces that are sponsoring this uprising and killings I decree the curse of God upon them!
"Lord if its your will to break up Nigeria, break it up now!"Bishop Oyedepo also urged his congregation to call down Holy Ghost  fire upon the enemy. Obviously angry Oyedepo said if Nigeria waits for the church to arise there will be no Nigeria left.

The ministration centred on cursing Boko Haram and all agents of destruction in the northern part of Nigeria.
Meanwhile recent visitors to Kaduna State House, Bishop Matthew Kukah, former Head of State Abdulsalami Abubakar and Cardinal John Onaiyekan all of the National Peace Council have met with Governor Nasir EL Rufai seeking the return of peace in Southern Kaduna. It appears most visitors to Kaduna are crying out for peace while only few are asking for justice

“I heard from God and He has proved it beyond measure. Therefore, every occultic root, every political root of this uprising is cursed today!” The congregation shouted “Amen!”

Ambode's Silicon Valley plan for Yaba not clear

 Akinwunmi  Ambode
The Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, says plans are ongoing to transform the Sabo Industrial Estate in the Yaba area of the state to a technology hub, another Silicon Valley.
He explained that the hub would serve as a place where new set of entrepreneurs and innovators could be raised to address the challenges confronting the nation in the Information and Communications Technology sector.
Ambode  said the government would   transform Sabo to the new hub for technology in 2017 and assist the already established technology incubators in the area to achieve their full potential.
Ambode visited some technology outfits in the area  and said that the government was desirous of assisting entrepreneurs in the ICT sector to grow.
He said, “Our government is seriously committed to assisting entrepreneurs like the ones here to be able to be good startups.

A former Minister of Communications and Technology, Mrs. Omobola Johnson, who was part of the tour, said the plan to scale up the industrial estate in Sabo signalled a new beginning for the technology sector.
Silicon Valley is a nickname for the southern portion of the San Francisco Bay Area, in the northern part of the U.S. state of California. The "valley" in its name refers to the Santa Clara Valley in Santa Clara County, which includes the city of San Jose and surrounding cities and towns, where the region has been traditionally centered. The region has expanded to include the southern half of the San Francisco Peninsula in San Mateo County, and southern portions of the East Bay in Alameda County.
The word "silicon" originally referred to the large number of silicon chip innovators and manufacturers in the region, but the area is now the home to many of the world's largest high-tech corporations, including the headquarters of 39 businesses in the Fortune 1000, and thousands of startup companies. Silicon Valley also accounts for one-third of all of the venture capital investment in the United States, which has helped it to become a leading hub and startup ecosystem for high-tech innovation and scientific development. It was in the Valley that the silicon-based integrated circuit, the microprocessor, and the microcomputer, among other key technologies, were developed. As of 2013, the region employed about a quarter of a million information technology workers.
As more high-tech companies were established across the Santa Clara Valley, and then north towards the Bay Area's two other major cities, San Francisco and Oakland, the "Silicon Valley" name eventually came to refer to all high-tech businesses in the region. The term is now generally used as a synecdoche for the American high-technology economic sector. The name also became a global synonym for leading high-tech research and enterprises, and thus inspired similar named locations, as well as research parks and technology centers with a comparable structure all around the world
Governor Ambode's plans to transform Sabo, Yaba area into a Silicon Valley for now remains nebulous since the governor has kept his plans close to his chest. Whether Yaba can meet the demands of hardware, software and processor technology in Nigeria that has given the valley in San Francisco its name remains to be seen. The area is known more for software development than anything else.

Kaduna Crisis and El Rufai's bias.

The Nigerian Army in Southern Kaduna should do more than just keep peace. There is an urgent need for the battalions to seek out those who are responsible for the mayhem in the state. The way things are going it appears that they government at both state and federal level intend to sweep the massacre under the carpet since the Senate, when it resumes sitting appears to be the only body that has come out to say that there would be a thorough investigation into the crisis that left over 800 people dead.
Security experts have said the government needs to focus on the weapons used in the attack that the weapons would definitely lead to the arrest of the people involved. The weapons frequently used in attacks like these have been the AK47 assault rifle which has been on sale by gun runners all around the world. Each gun has a serial number which can be traced and sales points can also be pointed out.
A lot of people believe that the governor of Kaduna State Mallam Nasir El Rufai reacted in the wrong way to the crisis when he said he had paid some people to stop the rampage and later imposed a curfew on the areas that appeared to be affected by the attack.El Rufai seems to have allowed religious sentiment to get in his way. Being a Muslim many observers have accused him of having a lot of bias.

Again more similarities between Ghana and Nigeria as Nana plagiarises Clinton, Bush inaugural speeches.

President Nana Akufo-Addo
Nana Akufo-Addo, the newly elected president of Ghana begins his term in the presidency of the Cocoa and Gold rich nation on a rather embarrassing note. Even though his communications director has apologized for not acknowledging the quotes that were copied  from the  President Clinton and President Bush inaugural speeches, Ghanaians and observers from all around the world are worried that the plagiarism could be a sign of what is to come for Ghana, a nation which under the Akufo Addo's predecessor has experienced a fall in the value of the Cedi, the nation's currency in exchange for the dollar and a high cost of living in spite of the rise in the price of fuel on the international market. \
During his speech on Saturday Akufo-Addo said:"Though our challenges are fearsome, so are our strengths. Ghanaians have been a restless, questing, hopeful people. And we must bring to our task today the vision and will of those who came before us,"
The quote was just like former President Clinton's 1993 inauguration speech: "Though our challenges are fearsome, so are our strengths. And Americans have ever been a restless, questing, hopeful people. We must bring to our task today the vision and will of those who come before us."
Not that alone: Akufo-Addo said: "I ask you to be citizens: citizens, not spectators; citizens, not subjects; responsible citizens building your communities and our nation."
In his 2001 inaugural speech, President  Bush said: "I ask you to be citizens: citizens, not spectators; citizens, not subjects; responsible citizens building communities of service and a nation of character."
The presidency's communication director acknowledged the plagiarism and offered an apology.
"I unreservedly apologize for the non-acknowledgement of this quote to the original author. It was a complete oversight, and never deliberate," Eugene Arhin said, but Ghanaians and indeed West African news analysts are beginning to wonder if Akufo-Addo, an accomplished lawyer and former external affairs minister in Ghana really has a plan laid out for his country. The overwhelming question is: if you have something to tell your people why must you tell them through the words of other people?
Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari also issued an apology for plagiarising quotes from US President Barack Obama in a speech promising change to the people of Nigeria.
Buhari's office said at the time a paragraph in the speech urging Nigerians not to fall back "on the same partisanship, pettiness and immaturity that have poisoned our country so long" was copied from Obama's victory speech after his election in November 2008.
"It was observed that the similarities between a paragraph in President Obama's 2008 victory speech and what President Buhari read in paragraph nine of the 16-paragraph address ... are too close to be passed as coincidence," Buhari's communication office said in a statement.
So far the countries of Ghana and Nigeria have demonstrated similarities in their leadership style check the story http://fortheleaderinyou.blogspot.com.ng/2016/12/goodluck-jonathan-and-john-mahama.htm
John Mahama and Goodluck Jonathan demonstrated similarities in their processes of attaining office as president in their various countries and they also have been accused of gross mismanagement with their relatives and associates being accused of corrupt practices.  Will Nana follow in Buhari's footstep? We are watching.
